LRTM is a closed-mold composite manufacturing process that combines aspects of both traditional RTM and vacuum infusion. In LRTM, a dry fiber preform is placed in a closed mold, and a low-pressure vacuum is applied to remove the air from the mold cavity. Resin is then injected into the mold under low pressure, displacing the air and impregnating the fibers. Jiuding’s LRTM manufacturing process creates a product that is smooth on both sides, has controlled thickness, and no environmental emissions.
